Absolutely. While decals are permanent they are also removable. Decals, labels and stickers are all intended for either short term or long term use to stick onto a variety of surfaces, for a multitude of different uses from personal projects to business marketing to product identification.

Once youve used the card to release the edges of the decal, you should be able to peel it off using your hand.

Yes! It is possible to reactivate the adhesive on most stickers. While the spray adhesive and extreme tack method can be applied to materials other than vinyl, you must be extra cautious and use as little adhesive as possible when re-sticking paper stickers.

Stickers made out of vinyl and adhesive have a lifespan of up to 5 years while stickers made from cling last up to 6 months. Some specialty materials such as glow in the dark vinyl is not intended for long term outdoor use however it will still hast indoors for up to 5 years.

Should you put decals on your car?
Any stickers that you put on your car should be marketed specifically as bumper or window stickers. Do not use normal, paper stickers on your car. You can also use products like glass cleaner (only if youre removing the sticker from a glass window) or credit cards to lift the sticker.
Will WD40 hurt clearcoat?
WD-40 is safe and will not hurt your cars paint job. WD-40 is mineral oil-based and actually adds additional corrosion protection to the finish and protects the clear coat. Just make sure you wipe off the excess or your vehicle may look greasy and attract dust easily.
Is isopropyl alcohol bad for car paint?
Isopropyl alcohol is NOT recommended for freshly painted finishes. You should never use isopropyl alcohol at full strength or it could permanently cause damage to your vehicles paint. Isopropyl alcohol, when diluted accordingly, can also be used to prep surfaces for paint, glass or wheel coatings.
